We often hear the question; Where can I see the bears?
The truth is that bears have a very large home range and are quite elusive. To have an visual encounter with a bear in his natural habitat can be a wonderful experience. Look for bears foraging along creeks or avalanche chutes in the late summer when berries and acorns are plentiful, but remember to keep your distance and be quiet.
